Catherine is a British/Australian director/writer who currently resides in London and Los Angeles. Her films have been screened at the V&A, and selected for numerous BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals (BFI Flare, Cork International, Hollyshorts, New Orleans International, Rushes Soho Shorts, St Louis International). They’ve won awards from sources as diverse as BFI/BAFTA and Gorezone Horror Magazine (presented by HELLRAISER’s Doug Bradley).

Catherine holds an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute and Summa Cum Laude degrees in Film & TV Production as well as English & Fine Arts and is a Fulbright Scholar. She has been supported by BAFTA LA BUNAC, BBFC, and Film London.

Her work frequently draws from true stories and historical events and embraces horror and the supernatural.

Her first short, ALICE IN THE CLOUDS has had over 140 000 hits online (dailymotion). Her second short, THE DROWNERS, a sinister tale of love and synchronised swimming, was inducted into the BFI's National Film Archive after a successful festival run. Other directing work includes the genre feature TEMPTATION, TV’s “BUILDING A GREENER BRITAIN”, music promos and fashion films (over two million combined online hits) for brands such as Windle & Moodie, Tom Ford, Jeremy Scott and Stella McCartney for Adidas.

Her most recent short, ROUGAROU, a southern gothic tale set in Louisiana, finished its festival run at San Diego Comic-Con. She has been repeatedly selected as a BAFTA Newcomer, is a member of Directors UK, and is a judge for many film festivals and scholarships.
